When is the right time?

When is the right time to enroll your child in a mom's day out program? Is age 2 or 3 better? It's actually time to start getting on the waiting list at some places. We are 1st going for our church program. Now I'm thinking he'll be 26 months and maybe it's too young. It's two times a week from 9-2?

Potty train...yes or no, boy or girl?

My son is showing interest in the bathroom but he shows insterest in lots of things at this point in his short 18 months of life. Is there an ideal time to potty train a boy? are boys earlier or later than girls? do you let them go with daddy? or does even help? with this being my first, I'm clueless on the timing of these kind of things...

16 month check-up for my son...when to start talking?

We had our 16 month check-up. It went great. My son was 24.13 lbs and 32.5". We seem to be on track, however he is still not saying his 5-10 words. The doctor said not to worry as long as he understands small tasks without being guided. I wish I knew how to help him along but they say there is not much you can do, plus he is a boy and he will talk when ready. Any ideas on helping him along or similar problems?

Today, Sunday, is a wonderful day! How is your day? Church was fabulous this morning. So refreshing and inspirational...finding peace! Exactly what I needed...after resigning and having a wonderful family to support me, I feel that my life has been redirected in a way that is very rewarding and fulfilling as a wife and mother.
